Wedding mornings are filled with so much anticipation, and Laura’s morning at **The Hotel at Kirkwood Center** was no exception. Getting ready on-site gave Laura and her bridal party plenty of time to enjoy the morning together before the ceremony while capturing all of those little moments that make the beginning of a wedding day so special. From putting on the finishing touches to having her mom help with her veil, the morning was relaxed, joyful, and full of excitement for everything ahead.
One of our favorite moments was Laura’s **first look with her bridesmaids**. After getting completely ready, Laura surprised her girls with the finished look—and their reactions were priceless! Her bridesmaids wore different shades and styles of blue, which gave the wedding party a beautiful mismatched look while still feeling cohesive with the couple’s soft, colorful wedding palette. Moments like these are also a great reason to build a little extra breathing room into your wedding day timeline. A bridesmaid first look only takes a few minutes, but it creates such a fun memory and some of the sweetest candid wedding photos.
Of course, there was one more very important member of the wedding party who had to be included: **Laura and Parker’s dog, Millie!** Millie joined Laura during the getting-ready portion of the day, complete with adorable blue bows that coordinated perfectly with the wedding colors.
