Mercedes Burger
Hi, I’m Mercedes! I’m an Iowa-based wedding planner and day-of coordinator who also specializes in North Carolina weddings. I’ve always had a heart for serving others, and from a young age, I knew I wanted to help people—whether through social work or event planning. My passion for planning truly ignited when I started organizing events like my dad’s company Christmas parties and graduation celebrations. When Lauren believed in me and gave me the opportunity to step into weddings, everything clicked. I fell in love with every part of the process—from the meticulous decor setup to the emotional toasts and every moment in between. Seeing how much stress planners can take off a couple’s shoulders made me realize this is exactly where I’m meant to be.
When I’m not coordinating weddings in Iowa or beyond, you can find me hanging out with my two kitties, Blaise and Rez, shopping at TJ Maxx, or trying out new restaurants around town! We’ll get along even better if you’re a fan of:
