Rolling Meadows Event Center Wedding, Lupe & Abraham
I absolutely loved working with Lupe and Abraham on their wedding! From the very beginning, they were kind, thoughtful, and completely trusting in the planning process, which made every step such a joy. Their vision was beautiful and intentional, and it was so fulfilling to help bring it to life on the big day. What stood out most was their love for each other and their families — it made the entire day feel incredibly meaningful and full of heart. Collaborating with them was truly a highlight, and I'm so grateful to have been part of their celebration!

The Wedding Ceremony at Rolling Meadows Event Center
Your wedding ceremony is one of the most intimate and meaningful moments of your big day, and choosing the right space to say "I do" is essential. At Rolling Meadows Event Center, their outdoor ceremony space is designed to be nothing short of magical. With stunning views, an array of arches to choose from, and a peaceful, intimate atmosphere, it’s the perfect location to exchange vows and begin your forever. Whether you dream of a traditional indoor ceremony or something more unique, Rolling Meadows provides the flexibility and beauty to make your vision come to life.
For Lupe and Abraham's wedding day, the forecast called for light rain, and, of course, it arrived just as the ceremony began. Thankfully, we had planned ahead— the couple thoughtfully provided parasols for their guests, which not only kept everyone dry but also added a beautiful, whimsical touch to the ceremony photos. I always love the elegance parasols bring to such special moments!
When it came to designing the ceremony space, we didn’t need much—the stunning views spoke for themselves. We complemented the natural beauty with the venue's white arch, adorned with delicate florals, and added luxurious touches with ribbon at the ends of each row of chairs, tying everything together perfectly.
The Cocktail Hour at Rolling Meadows Event Center
Cocktail hour is the perfect opportunity for guests to unwind, mingle, and set the stage for the celebration ahead. At Rolling Meadows Event Center, it’s far more than just a transition between the ceremony and reception—it’s an experience in itself. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor cocktail options, providing a fun and unique twist for guests, especially on beautiful days. One of the standout features of the venue is its expansive 2,500-square-foot outdoor patio, an ideal setting for cocktail hour. Adorned with twinkling lights, the patio creates a warm and inviting ambiance as guests enjoy drinks under the open sky. It’s a wonderful space for couples who want to infuse a touch of outdoor charm into their celebration, while still enjoying the sophisticated comforts of a stylish venue.
Lupe and Abraham made their cocktail hour unique by hiring a mariachi band to play during the reception! Guests had a blast listening to the ban walk around the space, and serenade tables! The couple also had a fun twist on their appetizers for the evening, when they had a mexican food truck supply specialty snacks!
The reception at Rolling Meadows Event Center
While the cocktail hour was a blast, the reception was even better! The mariachi band introduced the couple and played their first dance song, as we slowly transitioned into dinner. After the couple had eaten, the bride went to freshen up and slip into a new dress, and they were reintroduced to kick off the dancing- but with a little twist. Besides the DJ and the maricahi band, the couple had ANOTHER band they brought in from Chicago, that followed the couple into the reception as they re-entered, and all guests were encouraged to follow the couple and band outside onto the patio, to dance under the lights!
The Details at Rolling Meadows Event Center
Lupe’s details were truly some of my favorites to date. I absolutely loved her use of soft pastels paired with bold pops of chartreuse—it was such a refreshing and unexpected combination that made the entire light, airy aesthetic come to life in the most beautiful way.
One of my favorite personal touches was her choice to use her shoes as her “something blue”—such a sweet and stylish nod to tradition! You know the saying: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” We don’t often see brides incorporating all the elements of this tradition anymore, so it’s always a delightful surprise when one does—especially in such a thoughtful and modern way.
The wedding decor at Rolling Meadows Event Center
One of my favorite design elements of the day was the couple’s signage. It struck the perfect balance of modern and sophisticated, making a statement without overwhelming the space. Their welcome sign was especially eye-catching—draped in soft fabric with delicate bows tied to the side, and paired beautifully with a lush floral arrangement. It was trendy, elegant, and totally on point.
The guest table décor was just as stunning. With Rolling Meadows offering such a clean, neutral backdrop, we had the freedom to introduce color in a way that felt intentional and cohesive. I loved how each detail tied together to create a vibrant yet refined look that truly reflected the couple’s style.
